His day was so special. Excitement filled the entire weekend.
The preparation was wonderful…Jay & Gina….thank you for all your time and love…cannot wait to do it again with our lil peanut.
The day was amazing. Nanna and Bampa came up which made it even more special.
He finally got the “chip”.

1. I have been a stay at home mom for almost 13 years and my baby went to school this year all day, every day. It was a very hard transition time for me.
2. I love fresh tea lattes…especially when sweetened with honey.
3. I had my tonsils taken out when I was in second grade and remember missing an entire week of school because of it.
4. I have always wanted to get a tattoo that wrapped around the side of my torso. I have had the pattern for almost 3 years of what I want.
5. I hate being left out. The feeling stirs up so much emotion that I can hardly stand myself and my thoughts. I like knowing what’s going on in the inside.
6. Often times I over process things. Trying to think things through before they even happen.
7. I am a born organizer. I am neat, orderly and well organized. I love to have things in its place all the time. I go stir crazy when things aren’t where they need to be.
8. I am very loyal and faithful in my relationships. My name means “faithful one”. {Jeremiah 29:13}
9. Trust is very important to me, and being open and honest with me, is even more. Don’t lie to me, or tell me what you think I want to hear.
10. I love music. All kinds. It seeps in and moves me.
11. I love, love, love taking pictures. I love being creative with them, or just showing them off, strait out of the camera.
12. I am trying to get back into running again. So far…the purple kool aid is working. J
13. I consider myself artistic and love taking art classes. I just wish I had better skills when I draw.
14. I like to write and find I do my best stuff, in the middle of the night.
15. I have a college degree in business management and communications, but wish I could go back and major in photography, or commercial art.
16. I played sports in high school and was very, very competitive. Basketball, volleyball, track and tennis. My favorite was basketball.
17. One of my regrets in life, is that I didn’t take the full ride to go play college ball at Johnson County (Kansas) Community College. I still remember the coach’s name…Betsy Meeks.
18. I love camping. I love being outdoors, fishing and hiking with my family. The MT mountains are my favorite summer vacation spots.
19. I love being by the ocean. I love the smell, the feel of the sand in between my toes. I could sit and watch it for hours on end.
20. I love traveling alone with my husband. I’ve found though, it has to be a long trip, so I can really unwind (takes about 3 days to do that) and fully enjoy the time with him. Favorite spots:: Portland, OR and San Fran, CA.
21. I love good food, and love to try new things.
22. I surround myself with pictures of family and friends. It makes me feel closer to them.
23. Most times I’d rather text, than talk.
24. I love it when my lil peanut comes to me, and wants to have a girl day. {sigh}
25. Yesterday I was at home with my oldest, who was sick. He has now informed me that he had a health test too. Hmmmmm? J

peanut before her big show…
big brother’s
encore!!
by the light of a log fire and a small reading lamp, she opened the book that led her to a place called deptford. there she’d bask in magic, murder and intrigue and she wouldn’t have to think about the mess she’d made of her life. she wouldn’t worry about the people she’d stomped on or the lives she’d had a hand in ruining. most important, sitting in the half-light lost in another world, she wouldn’t have to address what she’d done and why she’d done it. she could pretend that her life to date had been one long accident and that she was better now. the ghosts that once haunted her were silenced, at least for the time being….anna mcpartlin

Cars are running and women are waiting patiently. The curtains are drawn, the “Closed” sign is up, and the lights are off. Moments later…
Car doors slam and women are running! The curtains have been opened as the sign changes to “Open.” The lights are bright as the doors open for an extraordinary shopping experience! Open only 4 days a month, the moments last a lifetime at the fun and trendy handbag and accessory shoppe known as Lillians. The product is extraordinary, the prices are ridiculously affordable, and the ‘frenzy of fun’ cannot be replicated! Fall in love with crooner Dean Martin, sip on Caribou Coffee and stay for a while…
the hippest shoppe in town! the business card reads… a fun “girly” experience. warm and welcoming, super sheek…super fun little shoppe.
i needed another one. yep i did. i stumbled upon a neat little shop down on s. 3rd street the other day. actually i knew it was there, i had seen the huge bill board boasting it’s existance to the world. it’s a trendy little tea bar. locally owned. room for sitting and enjoying a cup, or space to move around and linger. i loved it. unique pottery, fresh infused tea. natural sweeteners. i got a winter breeze blend latte. green tea, black tea, roasted almonds. yummo! it was such a fun new experience that i can’t wait to go back and try something different. anyone up for a cup of tea?

no words can express my thoughts on this one.
