It was a beautiful day (TRjr birthday to be exact) so we decided to take a walk to the old rail road train museum that was nearby. Jhacie had lost two little brown bracelets during her photo session, so the kids thought we should have a “scavenger” hunt for them. As we were walking TR asked about the Saint that you prayed for in order to find missing or lost things. I told him it was St. Anthony. He then started praying to him to help us find those bracelets. All the kids soon joined in asking Jesus to help them find them too. This was no longer a game it was a mission.

When we got to the park, I thought ok God…where do we go? The kids were “listening” as well. Alex was first to take the lead…so we all followed him. We spread out amongst the field of freshly cut grass and weeds in search for the dainty little beaded jewelry. As we began to walk in circles, Jhacie says, “hey Mom, look at this dragon fly.” We all went to see it. She leaned in closer to take a look and as she did she found one of her bracelets. The kids were so excited and I was completely amazed! As she put the first bracelet on, she noticed another dragon fly in the grass again leaning in closer to take a look…low and behold….it was her second bracelet! We were all in complete hysterics. :)
Praising God for his help. I mean this was less than 2 minutes tops that we began our hunt for the missing bracelets. This was no accident this was a completely God breathed moment. I was in total praise that he had blessed my kids and myself so visually. What a witness to his love and faithfulness even in the most simple request…yet in a field of grass and weeds.

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” We were witness to this today.

School is going really well for the boys this year. Each loving their teachers and new friends. Soccer is a blast as I love watching them do so well in something that they so love to do! It’s just as awesome being a “soccer mom”, especially when they schedule all three games at 10:00am, on opposite sides of the fields. I just shook my head thinking this is going to give me one heck of a workout. It must have, cuz my legs were kinda sore the next day.. ha, ha….Ahh, it’s been exciting and fun none the less.

Little peanut can hardly wait for her turn coming this spring. ;) We have had 2 birthdays this month. TR turning 11, and Ry-Guy the big double digit of 10! Both had small parties with friends, and then celebrated as a family on their day with their pick of dinner, cake and a movie. Make sure to check out their pages to see the baby pictures I pulled out. Man, how time flies.

Brody & Sara made a visit with the kids. We had so much fun with them. :) They got to watch the kids play soccer and even got in on the “Cloverdale Hotdog day” too. Visited the pumpkin patch, celebrated ry-guy’s bday, even did a little bit of shopping. It was so nice to have them here.

Jhacie is looking forward to her bday as well…Exactly 11 days after Ryan’s. We flipped over the new month, and we saw some sorta crayon circled around the 11– “Alex helped me” she said, so she could count down the days. She’s got her day planned too, but you’ll have to wait for next month to see what it is.

I am knee deep in our newest bible study–Beth Moore’s–Living Beyond Yourself. (an in-depth study of the fruit of the Spirit) So far so good. She always amazes me how each study I do, it seems she’s talking right to me! DigiGirl is going really well. Both my photography and designs are selling so I am pleased.

As some of you have already heard. We kept Jhacie home this year. We decided to “preschool” her at home. I am loving the time I get to spend with her and to be honest, don’t think I could have handled Alex being in school full time and then having her gone too.:) She is really doing well, with homework stuff, and we know she’ll be more than ready for kindergarten next year. If momma can just let go……

Tracy Sr. had an exciting trip to Washington DC this month too. He has some pictures to share too, so check them out. He had networking security training all week. He had the weekend to have some fun. He saw so many things…even caught the redskin football game. I know, I know….you all are thinking…you call that work? ;) At least he was able enjoy some of the time when he was away from us?

Alex enjoyed his first field trip to the pumpkin patch as did peanut since “we” got to help out the 1st grade classes when they went. We kinda said it’d be her first field trip too. ;) TR and Dad went on the 5th grade field trip to Dickinson for the “Water Works” presentations that same day. Got some pictures of both so check out the School Dayz page.

Make sure you check out all the links at the left of the screen. There are lots of new pictures to see almost on every page. Check out the kids links too, to see their new picture for the year. Think that wraps up our September. We were flying but we had smiles on our faces…that’s what counts right? :)

Hope you are doing well!
Hugs, Joleyn
