the Photographer :: the Artistic Designer

a photographer who captures life’s every day moments one breath at a time.

I’m a photographer who loves what she does.  A self taught photographer, I love getting out there and capturing the entire world with my camera. I love being inspired by every day ordinary things. Everything becomes a backdrop, a point of interest and I am on a constant journey to find the perfect spot, the perfect photo opportunity.   I offer contemporary, casual and fun sessions with a very casual and fun kind of photographer.  Your personal session will be on location of your choice; your home, your backyard, the park, down by the river.  I’ll let you be you and we’ll have some fun together and take some wonderful photographs while we’re at it.

Joleyn – I love the pictures. I laughed out loud at some of the photos you took by the river. We all had a wonderful time and you have given us a way to remember that. Thanks for being so great to work with and a special thanks to your sister who managed to get my nephew Mason to smile in a couple of the pictures…he’s a tough nut to crack! We can’t wait for you to do Bryce’s senior pictures.

Filed under: Photography Class, a note from me by Joleyn @ 3:23 pm

These past few weeks I taught 3 week long classes at BSC. Three separate sessions with three great groups of kids. They soaked this stuff up like sponges and had fun doing so. I was so impressed by many of these kids. They had natural eyes that captured some amazing photos. Pretty inspiring really.

I promised them I’d post my own photos that i took during my classes so they could all see them…critique them if they want…i hope they leave me tons of comments. {wink, wink} This post has the kids in action. I’ll post another set of pics that were mine from the photo walks we did.

I’m Nikolas mom and i just want to let you know that the pictures you and the kids took were excellent. My son loves photography and this helped him a lot. Can you have some more classess because he wants to learn more and he said 1week was not enough. Please let us know if you decide to have children classess again. Thank you and job well done.

I had told the kids that I would post some of my photos from our weeks assignments and photo walks…so…here they are.

First one to leave a comment on a photo telling me a “rule” about it…gets a point! ;) Remember there were 10 of them.
